About a month ago I read Donald Miller's book Blue Like Jazz and I must say it was a very interesting look at the Christian faith. Miller is humorous and witty and I recommend this book as well as his follow up book Searching For God Knows What. I am about half way through this book and I must say that I have laughed out loud and seriously thought about my faith. I especially like the chaper entitled "Santa Takes a Leak". On a similar note, I would like to tell you that, Hunter, my cohort in crime every Wednesday for chapel "took a leak" in the big boy pottty. I was nervous all morning because this was the first day he and I have left his house without the security of a diaper. I drove away with the extra pair of underoos stuffed in my jacket pocket thinking that I should pull over every 2-3 miles just to let him try. After chapel at the local elementary school we went to Target to pick up some pictures. Of course, our first stop was the restroom where my fears were put to ease. I can't say the same for the poor guy you gets to clean up after Hunter's "poor aim".

hey,
just got your e-mail. i will be sure and bookmark your site. interestingly enough, i have had 2 different people (who didn't talk to each other) recommend Miller's book in response to reading my paper. i checked it out last night and it looks pretty interesting.
