Summer and such

Here I am again with my monthly post. I promise I will try to do better....But trying sometimes just doesn't get it does it? Anyway, that is another post in and of itself.
VBS has fired up here at Central in Little Rock. We have the Jerusalem Marketplace right here in downtown Little Rock. What a feat. There is also a summer reading program here at out building that Andrew and Sara Chance and Ali Justus are rocking and rolling on. We got a 10,000 grant from the city to begin this program to help kids read and love to read so that is exciting. Camp Caudle is just around the corner so I will be spending a week somewhere around Russelville. That should be a blast. Thats just a quick run down of the stuff here in the near future that's going on. I am sure that a lot of people's summer look just as busy or more so. Makes me think of a book I read in college by John Ortberg called The Life You've Always Wanted. He had a chapter in there called The Art of Slowing or something like that. He said that sometimes the best thing that you could do for your spiritual life was take a nap. I like that guy! Good night John Boy.
