4 backup singers, 4 horn players, 1 drummer, 1 percussionist, 1 guitar player, 1 piano player, 1 mandolin player, 1 cello player, 1 Lyle Lovett...that equals Lyle Lovett and his large band...that is who I got to see play tonight...It was a great concert. Things started off with the large band minus Lyle playing an upbeat instrumental, then the singers came out and they sang "Walk the Dinosaur" to get the crown going. (Yes the song by Was Not Was) Then Lyle came out and they sang and played for over 2 hours. I won't even begin to name all the songs but it was a great night of music. Maybe I'll say more later, maybe I won't...until then

Had to check in this morning to see how it was. Two hours of Lyle Lovett and his Large Band... I would have had to wet my pants, because I wouldn't have gotten up to take a bathroom break. Glad to you got to see it.
Don wets his pants anyway......that would have just been his latest excuse. He's elderly, you know.
Glad you got to go, and that it was good. Now if we could just get Cat Stevens to tour again! :)
