1. It's is a good day. My wife gets home tonight so that is good.
2. I went and saw the band Trainwreck last night. What a hilarious bunch of guys. The lead singer combed out his mullet for about the first 15 minutes of the show. The other front man looked like a short, overweight Roy Orbison of some sort. The lead guitar player said nothing all night but had on a 70's tank top and permed, long hair down his back. The bass player wore tight white jeans and a tight white retro shirt with a big silver belt buckle. And the drummer wore overalls with no shirt and he wasn't a skinny guy. I don't think I have laughed so hard in quite a while.
3. We are going to the fat man's wedding in Birmingham this weekend. My bro is officiating the ceremony. Disc golf will be played. Old friends will be seen. Good times I say.
4. Bama/Florida game will be a tough one but I think we can pull it out. Darby needs to get out of his funk and I'd like to see Johns get some more touches this week. And maybe Mike will turn JPW loose. Any thoughts or predictions Uncle Dave or Walrus?
5. Still stoked about Don Williams in November. On that thought...what is your favorite Don Williams song and why?

Don Williams sings "One Friend", right? I like that song. Please, I must know...do I know who "the fat man" is that you keep referring to?
I do think we have a good chance this weekend but it will be with a few turns of luck (turnovers, special teams, etc.). Florida is a really solid team this year so we'll have to bring the A game. I'm willing to give Darby a chance but if he doesn't work in the first half, send Johns in. And by all means, open up the air game. It's our best chance. Bama has an outstanding record in Gainesville (7-1) so we've got that going for us. Roll Tide.
Have a good time at the wedding this weekend. Sorry I can't be there. Give hobbes a good initiation ceremony the night prior.
We kinda have a mental thing on Florida.......we expect to beat them, and they don't think they can beat us normally. But they have a lot more seniors than we do, and they have pay-back on their minds from that butt-whipping they got from us last year. I like our chances......I say 27-17 us.
Don Williams......my favorite is where he talks about "the Williams boys" and it has the line "good ole boys like us". But, all of his songs are wonderful. Where is the concert, and how much?
Uncle Dave
P.S. tell Mindy hello for me.
the fat man is Mr. Michael "hovie" Hovater
tough game on Sat for Bama...I still like JPW though and think he will get it together...
Hello Michael Cooper! Congrats on buying a house. Sometimes I wish we still lived in AR so we could do things like that.
