stuff and happenings...

Hello loyal readers,
Not a lot has been happening here...we are anxious and excited about Jaci joining us in a few weeks...104 degree weather and a pregnant woman are with me most of the time and things couldn't be better. People always ask me if Mindy has been a CPL (I'll be looking for guesses to see who knows what a CPL is in my comments) or if she is making weird requests for food or if she is hormonal and all that. I just tell them that my wife is exactly the same pregnant or unpregnant, and for that I am thankful. Of course there is the belly thing that is different but I kind of like that....anyway

I played in an Elvis tribute last night. Lots of people decked out in Elvis garb...it was kind of freaky...I was in tennis shoes and a button snap...never fear, the button snap came through for me and I got in and out without a scratch...I really didn't realize what I was getting into when I said yes but it turned out to be pretty fun...

The Cooper reunion was this past weekend. It was the first one that I have ever missed. They started up when I was 4 or 5 and I have been to all of them...until now...Hopefully we can make it next year

Shaun Groves was with us last Sunday night and it was a great evening. I encourage you to check out his stuff if you get a chance...

I have just started recording a CD. I have 4 songs done and go back Thursday for 2 more. I'll keep you posted on the progress and maybe put them up on my myspace in a few days if I can get Dan to help me...

Andrew Peterson will be here August 31st. If there is any way for you to make this show, be there. You won't be sorry. You'll actually be unsorry...
